How to use the Attendance Calculator

  1. Enter the number of classes you attended.
  2. Enter the total classes held so far and the required percentage.
  3. Press Check attendance.

Attendance Calculator formula

Attendance % = Attended ÷ Total × 100
Classes needed = ⌈(Target × Total − 100 × Attended) ÷ (100 − Target)⌉
Classes you can skip = ⌊(100 × Attended − Target × Total) ÷ Target⌋

Worked example

Attended 42 of 60 classes = 70%. To reach 75%: (75 × 60 − 100 × 42) ÷ 25 = 12 → attend the next 12 classes (54/72 = 75%).
