Percentage = CGPA × 9.5

Worked example

Why 9.5?
CBSE found that the average marks of students in the 91–100 grade band was about 95, so one grade point roughly equals 9.5 marks. Many universities adopted the same factor, but some use CGPA × 10 or other formulas — your marksheet or university website states the official rule.
