How FLAMES works
- Write both names and strike out common letters one-for-one.
- Count the letters that are left.
- Count around F-L-A-M-E-S using that number and strike out the letter you land on.
- Repeat from the next letter until one letter remains — that is the result.
Example
RAHUL and PRIYA: common letters R and A are removed, leaving H, U, L and P, I, Y = 6 letters. Counting 6 around F-L-A-M-E-S strikes out S, F, A, L and E in turn, leaving M – Marriage.
