Mars in house 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 or 12 counted from the Lagna → Mangal dosh from Lagna.
The same houses counted from the Moon's sign → Mangal dosh from Moon (Chandra kundli).
Some traditions use only houses 1, 4, 7, 8 and 12 (leaving out the 2nd), and many list situations where the dosh is considered cancelled, such as both partners being manglik.
